Have you had an MRI after your BAHA implant?
« on: November 15, 2009, 04:27:33 pm »
Did it affect the MRI?  Probably not but I'm just wondering.  I hope to get the BAHA once I'm done with my Proton treatments at MGH.

Thank you.
Proton Radiation for my hemangioma at MGH December 2009.  Hearing has improved.  Doing great!

Just wanted to echo what Jo said.

A BAHA implant, is titanium, and therefore has no effect on an MRI - but you should tell the technician that you have one.  They like to know stuff like this  :)

Also, when having an MRI you should not wear your processor (device) aka tiny hearing aid.

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways
