I came thisclose to getting my BP100 today!
« on: August 21, 2009, 09:17:30 am »
..I got a call from my Dr. today saying that it had arrived, and I could call the appointment desk to make arrangements with the audiologist. When I called, I asked of I could get it today, and she said there was an opening at 10:00. (it was 9:00 when I called, and I didn't have to be to work until 1:00).

I was scrambling to get ready, the office is only 10-15 mins away, I was dressed, hair, makeup,.....then the phone rang...apparently, the receptionist didn't know that the audiologist wasn't being "trained" on the new device until 3:00.

So because of MY schedule, now I can't get it until Wednesday... oh well, at least I now know when I'm getting it, and just in time as I have to go to a meeting the week after ;D

Lisa ~

It must have been maddening to come that close to getting your BP100 unit and then being thwarted by circumstances that were really out of your control (your work schedule).  As you noted, you now have a firm 'installation' date and it comes when you'll be able to put the BP100 to good use at the upcoming meeting you mentioned.  It won't be long now!  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Lisa -

I feel your pain  :'(  It's been little more than a year for me, but I still remember the 90 long days before I got my Divino!

But, as Mike said, Wednesday will be here before you know it.  Don't forget to give us your impressions from your first BAHA gotcha day!

I think you're going to love it too  ;D

Hi Lisa,

I can imagine how anxious you are to get your processor and how disappointed you were today, but as others have said Wednesday is not far off.  I'msure you will be thrilled when you get it.  The day I got my Diviino was one of the happiest days of my life!  I love my BAHA and I know you will too!!! ;D
