Not sure where to post this
question- so "AN community" it is here...
As a kid when I had a 7-11 slurpie I would get a major head rush. As kids we thought it was a wildly funny experience.
Now I am mature
and (er hum) sophisticated
I don’t slurp slurpies (iced pop type beverages) any more.
Today-my kids got out the ice cream maker and made iced milk with fresh strawberries (yum). I slurped some … bam…and I was knocked off my feet. Ear started ringing, I was gagging, facial muscles went hypertonic… Major head ache… balance issues...
Has anyone else had a very ice-cold beverage (or ice cream) and had an extreme head rush since their AN treatment?I am wondering,
"how the extreme cold, in the back of the throat so close to the brain, affects the cranial nerves… more specifically the vestibular (acoustic) and facial nerves?"DHM
