Amy checked out of St. Vincent's on Sunday and is now resting in the comfort of her own home. ;D  Her hubby Paul and son Dylan made a special trip out today to help send the Magic Scarf on its way.

Even though she's only five days post-op, Amy wanted to be sure the Magic Scarf made it to Dennis (DR) for his turn on Wednesday!  :)

Paul said we may be hearing from Amy herself sometime soon.  ;D

Amy - congrats on your new postie status!

Congrats on being a postie, Amy!  I've been following you on caringbridge and you've done so well.  I'm glad you have such a supportive family to help you get through this.  Still sending prayers for the rest of your recovery!

Great to know Amy's at home and doing well as a postie!  Thanks for posting the pic, Nancy (it looks so nice and warm out there  8) )...know Dennis will be glad to have the scarf!  (Dennis, you know we'll need a pic of you IN the scarf at some point.)

Take it easy, Amy.  We'll be watching to hear from you when you're up to it,

NL ~

Thanks for the update on Amy and her fabulous recovery!  Great photo too, although baby Dylan doesn't look too happy. :(  Congratulations to Amy!  I'm looking forward to her first 'posite' message!  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Amy,
So happy and relieved for you! You are a postie.!
I read your online journal and am so glad they got all the tumor with no facial problems.
Rest, rest, rest, you can hold that baby all day long if you want!
And walk too, slowly, but surely.
Baby steps will turn into small walks, and before you know it you'll be strolling the park with your beautiful baby. :)
