HI Poppy

I don't suffer from headaches but wanted to  congratulate you on your excellent MRI.  No growth is great news.  I hope you continue to get the same reports.

Hi, Poppyy.
Who is following you at MEEI?  I had only hearing loss, a slight balance issue, and tinnitus.
You're in good hands at MEEI and MGH.
Please ask if you have any questions about McKenna, McCall, or Barker.  They were my physicians.
Glad you had no growth.  I remember those days.
Nancy

Hi Poppyy
Congratulations on your no-growth MRI.
I was in the W&W category for over 2-years. Never had any headaches. My only symptoms were: tinnitus, slight loss in hearing at certain frequencies, a perceived very minor balance problem. I also have problems where there is a lot of background noise. My AN ear seems to shut down in these instances.

Good news on the no growth, I am in the middle of my full year of W&W, it has been good not think of going back in 6 months sort of a break from that but not the symptoms they don't go away.  Enjoy your year off.
Diagnosed 6/2008
Right AN 2cmx8x9
Sub-Occipital at Mass General with Martusa and McKenna on 5/31/11
Right SSD, very little taste
I think I will make it!

Poppy ~

Congratulations on the no-growth MRI and the move to annual scans.  Unfortunately, in some AN patients, headaches do continue.  I hope yours will soon diminish and disappear.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hi Poppyy,

Glad to hear that you have no growth. It is great news. I always suffered from headaches. The funny thing is that the Neurosurgeon said they have nothing to do with the AN.

I do get a lot of throbbing ear pain, the doctor didn't comment much on this.

Hi Poppy!

Congrats on the no growth MRI!
All of us in W & W like that.

I hope you can resolve your headaches - i haven't had to deal with any since my diagnosis.
Prayers for relief from those bothersome headaches.

Sincerely,
Sue
