Thanks Boppie! You read my mind. I was going to ask if anyone knew what "vestibular exercises" were. I printed those out to use after my surgery. I wonder if it would help pre-surgery ???

If you are due surgery - gentle exercise and balance control would be
a good idea. I dont mean crash diet and lose 2 stone etc.
Basically the surgery and subsequent recovery may mean you are
inactive for a short while - the next 5mths trimming, stretching, and
tone-ing will make it easier during the recovery.
Nothing drastic - no weights that might break anything
Light gym, Yoga, Ballet, dance, Swimming  etc
Good luck

You might not notice any problem doing the Cawthorne exercises pre-surgery, unless you are already sensing balance problems.  However, I found it good to know how bad my drunk walk was presurgery.

Post surgery, it will be a while before you can once again produce a good drunk walk test.  Keep working on it the eye/head movements.
