SFSG for me!
« on: December 15, 2009, 03:14:58 pm »
So far so good for Priscilla!  I had my one year anny MRI and absolutely nothing showed up, I am happy to report.  I have to go back in two years for the next one.  I didn't realize how much I had been holding my breath on this until I got the results.  Meningiomas have a higher rate of recurrence than neuromas, and I was giddy with relief when I saw the doctor.  Whew!  Blessings abound.

Priscilla
Diagnosed  left AN 8/07/08, 1.9 CM
Surgery 12/10/08 at Methodist Hospital w/Vrabec and Trask for what turned out to be a cpa meningioma.

Many thanks to all of you for your well wishes.  When I checked out, the nurse smiled and said "You've paid your dues."  Yep, we all have, but along the way we have become friends with some amazing, compassionate people, and I am proud to be in such august company, even if the dues were $$$. :)
