Hello,
I wrote an email to my doctor and asked him for information on my tumor, about the procedure, what he saw and what happened. And this was his reply.
"I have no adequate recall of the operation, but have copied the operative report done immediately after the surgery. I hope it helps you."
So here is what I have.

So that's all I've got. I don't know anymore than that. I've written to him again asking him about the 8th nerve and what happend there but am still waiting for a reply.
Can anyone help me understand this better? If the 7th nerve controls facial animation and my 7th nerve was ok then why is my face so broken? And what does the 8th nerve do? And what do think would happen if the 8th nerve could not be spared? What does that mean?
