Kathy's New Hat!
« on: February 25, 2010, 03:44:21 pm »
Guess what I got?  I am so excited!!!  Purple is my favorite color and it came at a perfect time....just when I thought this incision was finally healing (4 surgeries last 13 months), and I'm about over my 8 week IV antibiotic run and ready to start chemo, it is now seeping AGAIN - more appts are set for tomorrow and next week - here we go again.    This hat just made my day :).  I'm attempting to put a picture below...and I intend to change my profile pic also.  Thanks to our extraordinary humanitarian and knitter, Steve, for a fabulous gift!  I think it's time to open a haberdashery - you got talent and a heart of gold!

Whoa!  Sorry the pic is huge - no idea how to make it smaller here!!!  You get the idea......

Love you all,

Kathy

Kathy, you look stunning!!!!!!!  Thanks for sharing this!

(if you want your pic smaller, let me know and I'll downsize it but I rather like it like this!)

Hang in there... feel better... know that I am cheering you on... and honestly, you look fantastic!

It is a hat as lovely as Kathy herself.

May it be a talisman for our desire for her healing as well.

Kathy -

it warms my heart to see your beautiful smile after all that you've been going through.

I'm sorry to hear about your incision, but if your picture is any indication of your spirit and attitude I'm confident you'll get through this.

Oh yeah, and I love the hat  ;D  Another wonderful job by Steve.

Kathy,

The hat is a perfect color and the picture is a perfect size!  You look fantastic - no one would ever guess the challenges you've faced in the past year.

Keep that beautiful smile!  And quit seeping!   >:(

So glad that Steve was able to warm another head...and another heart!
