Since I can breathe a little, I thought I would give you an update:
First, please continue to keep Todd Ingalls in your prayers, his good kidney is not doing what it needs to do and he has been in and out of the hospital, he desperately needs a new kidney, but has to be strong enough to receive it. He gets transfused on a weekly basis now.
Second, we closed on the sale of our house this past Tuesday. What a relief that was.......the loss...$70,000. We have a rented a really nice apartment near the Kemah Boardwalk and love not having to mow and weed for right now.
Third:David's business is growing in leaps and bounds. We got to hire our daughter as the office manager, so that was a real plus. We have also hired a part time tech and a part time installer. They will both go full time the first of May.
Fourth: Daughter number two is having a girl...Peiton Emerson Andrews...(her Dad is a Peyton Manning fan and also PeiWei Chinese food fan!) Emerson is in honor of my Mom. Daughter number two is a paralegal for law firm in downtown Houston, but also goes to school full time and does our accounting and payroll.
Fifth: Oldest grand daughter, Jensen, was accepted to Stephen F Austin with a full scholarship. So far she has received six scholarships, so she is set for four years. She plans to be an education major.
Sixth: Grand daughter number two, Paxton, gets her driver's license the first of June. This after going almost a year without a seizure!! She also dances with the Diamonds, the high school dance team.
Seven: Dawson and Craig, grand sons extraordinaire, are typical kindergardener and first grader. They never cease to amaze me. The both love to fish in the stocked lake at our complex.
Life is good and we have gotten over the hurdles thrown in our way. Not without all of your prayers. We have started a new adventure and a new chapter in this book of life!
I hope wherever you are it is starting to look like spring...it is here.
Hugs to all,
Brenda
