This Week 3/21 “2010” in the AN World
« on: March 21, 2010, 11:51:11 am »
Blandie (blanc) we were happy to read that you are back home.  It is great news that they were able to save your hearing.

Thank you very much Don (Kiwi Don) for updating us on Jacqui’s (kiwi) surgery.  The feeling of hope that one experiences from having The Magic Scarf in their possession is really something.  To see that it has spread that warmth internationally is pretty cool 8)

Congratulations to you both as our newest Posties.

Congratulations (sunfish) on your new Toastie Postie status.  We are very pleased that your Cyberknife Treatment went as planned and that you did not have any ill effects from the treatment.

We hope that you all recover quickly.

This Week:

Wednesday James (james e) is having his AN surgery.  James you have certainly had a “tough row to hoe” battling your way back from the stroke last April.  Your statement “our lives are forever changing” is so true.  Hopefully yours will calm down after this, so you can just “enjoy the ride”.  Thoughts and prayers for you this week for a successful surgery, with out any further complications.

As always, we continue to hope that those recovering will find their row a little easier to hoe with each day that goes by,

Rich & Scarlett
SML (Scarlett's) other half, she had - 1.5 cm x 2.5 cm Cystic AN - Right side
Retrosigmoid on 3/18/09 at MGH in Boston, MA. Dr. Barker & Dr. Lee of MGH/MEEI
no facial issues, SSD right side, balance issues to work on.

Thanks for the update, Rich.

My prayers and wishes for a successful surgery go out to James (james e).  May Kiwi and all the folks recovering from surgery/radiation have smooth, rapid recoveries.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Wow.  It's actually a slow week on the calendar which is rare.  I can't recall the last time this happened.

James -

best of luck to you.  Good thoughts and prayers for a very successful, swift, uneventful surgery and recovery are heading your way.

Can't wait to hear from you as a postie!  ;D

Best,

Jan
