Anyone still have a little bit of their tumor left? Has it grown since?

A tiny bit of my 1.5cm was left behind. My 1 yr MRI showed there was no new growth. I'm due for my 2 yer MRI in June.

No but have heard a lot about debulking followed by radiation and its successes.  I'm sure some people have had this, Jim I believe?  Not sure if this is an option for you, but something to possibly consider?

I had about 7mm of my 3.8 cm AN left behind because it was too cozy with my facial nerve. I am almost 2 years post op and have had no growth, if anything a little bit of shrinkage. I just had my 3rd post op MRI and do not need another one for 18 months. If you look in the 'post treatment" section there is a treat that Alicia started that is called "Slivers"-It has a discussion with a few of us that have had tumor left behind. How did your surgery go? I'm guessing from your question, they had to leave some tumor behind.  How are you feeling?

I have a little left behind, scans so far have been clear, i am now 3 years post op, and due another scan next yearx

I too have a little left over to preserve my facial nerve...after two MRIs, tumor is stable and if regrowth occurs, then i will have the squatter zapped

I had surgery on the 11th of march and a bit of tumor was lest on my facial nerve. Not yet sure how much. Will be seeing my doctors next week. Will update you on that

I had surgery on 16th March and they left some tumour on my facial nerve....I too am not sure how much yet.
