eye liner

Just got back from seeing Jackie Diels and she mentioned permanent eye liner since I can't keep eye liner on since I am constantly wiping eye dropd around my eye.  Has anyone tried  it.  How do you keep eye make-up on?  Karen

My eyeliner actually stays on the AN eye BETTER than my other eye!  I checked into permanent eyeliner, but they wouldn't even entertain the thought of doing mine since I already have one "bad" eye.  They don't expect anything to go wrong, but if it did, I'd be a lame duck (same with Lasik surgery)...

Have you tried Lancome's waterproof eyeliner...it is wonderful.  I just wouldn't trust anyone to do permanent eyeliner around something as precious as my sight

Karen,

I've heard of it and even thought about doing it.  I must admit, it's more because I'm too lazy to put makeup on all the time than anything having to do with it coming off!   

Right now I use waterproof eyeliner (Clinique makes one, also just ordered one from Avon which is a lot cheaper than the Clinique, so we'll see how that works when I get it).  It stays on pretty well - not perfect, but it does last longer than the non-waterproof kind.

It's something I may look into more closely at some point.

I agree with Lori the Clinque brand is actually really good.  I've tried Avon it is okay, for cost effectiveness I recommend Revlon.  It is more than Avon, but not as costly as Clinque and it has staying power.  It depends what I'm wearing or where I'm going as to which eye liner I will apply.

I am too nervous to do the permanent but I am really going to check out all that you have recommended. My eye drops cut of go crusty under my eye and I can peel it away but with it goes my eyeliner. This post has come at a great time - I am going to buy waterproof.
