Maryland area ANA support group meeting
« on: May 04, 2010, 06:40:44 am »
Hi ....... FYI, there will be an ANA support group meeting on May 15th from 2 to 4 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.  Easy off and on Rt 50.

For more info, see www.ana.org and click on Support Groups on the left.

BTW, there's also one in DC earlier that same day.  With 2 hrs between the meetings, you could make both and still head to the beach that afternoon  8)

Hi Greg,
I have only been to the DC one once. It's always on a day where I have something going on! This year it's the air show at Andrews. My hubby and daughter will be working at it as part of the Navy Sea Cadet program.
Which support group are you going to? Both? !!
I hope it goes well.

Hi Keri ..... hope this finds you well!

Only going to the MD meeting in Annapolis. I just added the DC area meeting in case people are reading this forum and didn't see anything else on that meeting.  Anyway, traffic thru Annapolis mid-day Sat can be tricky (e.g. sticky & thick-y  ::) ), even tho it's only May.  Perhaps you've experienced it yourself.

Have fun at Andrews for Armed Forces Day!

I clicked this post because I wanted to see where in Maryland a meeting would be ... lived in Severn for a while and just nosy ... turns out Severn is at least in the same county  ;D... would be a long trip from mid-south Tennessee to get there ...

any how ... gonna fix Greg's link above and change it to www.anausa.org ... unless you are interested in the American Nurses Association then use the first one  :D

see ...being nosy is not always bad ...

we lived on Reese or Reece Road (can't remember spelling ) between Fort Meade and Severn ... used to go to Annapolis and Baltimore and DC just to goof off and look around ...loved the area ... for some stupid reason one of the strongest memories is of a store in Glen Burnie ... Two Guys ... hope meeting goes well ...

Glad BAHA site is feeling good ... nearly three years later and most of the right side of my scalp and part of my face is still numb ... if I ever got a BAHA (when I win the lottery) I probably wouldn't know it

Dear All,
I'll be attending the DC group that morning since it's only a few miles from my house.   I'll be sending vibes your way that afternoon.   This is my first meeting.   Missed the one in January as I was just home from the hospital and still couldn't drive.  Am excited about meeting people in the Group.
