Good News!!!
« on: May 24, 2010, 06:22:20 pm »
I went into NYU this afternoon and had my MRI.  Dr. Roland said the films looked "CRYSTAL CLEAR"!!!!  YEAH  I'm so happy and relieved.  I feel like today was a milestone.

I told him about the other ear and the sensitivity he told me it was Hyperacusis.  Not uncommon with SSD.  I guess just something I will live with.

Thanks everyone who helped me through this week with your positive thoughts and prayers.  It help tremendously!

Hi Jen-

Been off this board for a few days, so just saw this - congratulations!!  Now you're good for another year.

BTW, I also have the hyperacusis thing - pretty common, I guess.  I use an ear plug sometimes if I know that I am going to be around the kinds of noises that bother me.
