New concerns

Hi guys,hope you can help.Had a mild ear infection for about a week or so with a waxy looking disharge.Had a spray from doctor and it seemed to be clearing up but now its back.The thing thats concerning me is some slight bleeding from that ear.(an ear) worried
4 cm acc neuroma 99.9% removed queen elizabeth hospital 6 sept 09 by dr walsh.thought it was trigeminal neuralga,lots of facial pain for 18mths,now deaf on rh side little taste and ear pressure.13 hour surgery.

Steve ~

We can't diagnose this for you but it definitely needs to be seen by a physician, as soon as possible.  Bleeding from the ear is not good no matter what the cause.  It may be AN-related but only a doctor can make that diagnosis.  Call him.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Thanks Jim nice to know you & other good people are there for us,i will see doc and im glad the forum is back.I for one felt very alone without it :)

Steve .....

Jim is "spot on."  You need to have your doctor evaluate the cause of this discharge.  And, I too am glad we are back up and running!!

as Jim said, call your doc.

I hope this turns out to be nothing but a minor problem.

Yes, you'll notice a lot of us repeating that same mantra over and over...we aren't doctors (well most of us isn't) so get yerself in that doc asap!! I hope it all turns out well, let us know what it's about...

Hi guys,first of all thanks for listening.Nobodys understands these problems like fellow an:ers,its good to know your there.Good news in a way the infection got worse so s. :)tronger antibiotics given.I was thinking allsorts last night but not two serious.Once again thank you from the other side of the pond.PS started new job last wed after 18 mts of unemployment

Congratulations on the new job!  Sorry about the infection and I trust the antibiotics will clear it up, soon.
