occipital nerve entrapment
« on: January 22, 2011, 08:20:38 am »
I am scheduled for surgery to in Occipital nerve is entrapped in bone or scar tissue.  Also found out I have bone dust and one of screws from surgery has worked its way into brain and may be causing inflammation, causing more head pain.  Surgeon plans to remove screws, and see if he can release nerve.  Nothing can be done about bone dust.  Anyone had this procedure done before?????
