Gennysmom surgery tomorrow
« on: July 04, 2006, 10:17:10 pm »
Everyone out there, please send thoughts and prayers and good vibes and ANYTHING POSITIVE at about 8 am PST, tomorrow, for Kathleen trans-lab surgery with Dr. Backous.

I will be calling the "best coast girls" after her SO calls me.  I will post for everyone else, unless you want to give me a call.

We love you, girl!  You will be, as Batty put it, the poster girl for trans-lab.

I got the really TERRIFIC coast covered as well!  She sounded good last night and shared with her to start celebrating her "independance" of her AN as of tonight.. that as of tonight, she is a postie :)  She sounded good, she was preoccupied with holiday festivities and sending her MAJOR huggles for today.  Will also advise as Nan and I hear more.

HUGGLES MOM!!!!!

I just checked Kathleen's care page and it said that she is out of surgery (8 hours)  and in ICU. They were able to preserve her facial nerve. Not sure if whole tumor was removed. She may begin therapy tomorrow. Hopefully we will hear more soon.
