Vertigo problems 2 years post surgery
« on: November 29, 2011, 10:30:46 pm »
Ive started having pretty severe vertigo after2 years of being symptom free for the most part after my mid fossa surgery.  I've also developed a severe twitch under my surgical side eye that is troublesome.  Has anyone experienced similar?

PS. I've missed you guys!
Diagnosed 3/09 1.1cm tumor - 4/17/09 - had grown to 1.2
Age 61 - married with three adult kids
MidFossa surgery completed June 22nd
Mass General/Mass Eye and Ear - Martuza and McKenna
The tumor has grown back.  Now working with Mass General.  Dr. Loeffler feels I am not a candidate for proton beam.

I am 20 months post surgery...translab...and I have never had full on vertigo, but I have never stopped being wonky. It is 24/7. I had lots of vestibular PT, and the wonky never stopped...it got better, but never stopped. I don't have any other symptoms. Really sorry to hear about your recent problems. See your doc.
