Sounds like Houston is out of the picture. Vrabec is a top-drawer doctor, but your circumstances are difficult, and House might be a better choice for you. Scott and White in Temple was on my list. That is just up I-35 and just 20 minutes north of Austin. I am not trying  to keep you from going to House...just offering some  local choices.

I saw Vrabec  to get my stitches out. He also implanted my BAHA abutment during the surgery, and I had a follow up for that.
