Thanks for thoughts and prayers.
Everything went well  it was a long day waiting for the treatment plan to be finalized.  I slept a lot -
had headache while waiting (probably cause by lack of coffee and food) given meds for pain
also had headache after frame removal - given pain meds - and some to take home which I only used once last night
slept most of today - starting to feel like myself this evening - hope to be out and about on my own by the weekend
Dr. Teh said everything went well - very nice group of folks working in this area at Methodist - very attentive and caring.  Happy with my decision to stay close to home.

Congratulations!  I'm pleased to learn that the procedure went well and that you're getting back to normal.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

OK - so there is life after radio surgery.  Understand that all our treatments are different and our responses to out treatments are different.  BUT . . .
One month out - I was riding roller coasters, and walking the historical district of Philadelphia.  Also walked Williamsburg.

I had some ringing in the ear about 3 weeks post - that's gone.  Had some numbness of the mouth like just being at the dentist (gone).  I am rocking and rolling along even better than before as a matter of fact it seems like I have more energy during the day.  Still get tired in the late evening but not sure if it's related.

Just saying hang in there - smile - life is good.

Grammyslim,

Bravo! Glad to hear it! I went in for Gamma Knife just a half a month after you. Have had some intermittent stress like headaches but nothing worse. I like your news, keep going!
