writing for my mom she is home
« on: September 29, 2012, 09:46:14 am »
Came home Thursday.  Little facial paralysis, little off balance.  It was a ten hour surgery.  Home nurse follow up.  Doing good.  Got 99% of tumor out! Really tired.  Thank you for your prayers & well wishes.  Will be on soon.

Thanks for the update.  Here's hoping your mom has a great recovery!

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Thanks for the good news.

Little facial paralysis, little balance issues are very common this soon after surgery.  Most likely things will improve greatly in time.

Best to your mom,
