Matthew,

Welcome back to the Forum. Glad that the operation was a success! You were in our prayers. Our prayers were answered. Continued success on your road to rehabilitation.

Rest now and take it easy in between exercising. Slow and easy wins the race....Please don't tire yourself out, listen to the people from PT you will progress. You posted "Baby steps" that IS the right attitude. Don't know if you've had nausea or balance issues that are common with this type of operation. Good to "hear" that you are in good spirits though, that is half of the battle.....You will notice little things about yourself that you may not have noticed before. Certainly others will notice a change in you.

Please come here and discuss your frustrations if you want as often as you want.

Also, depending on how you feel about it, starting a journal on here is therapeutic for you and helps other newly diagnosed people to choose between options such as Watch and Wait, Surgery,Gamma Knife Radiation, Cyber Knife Radiation or Proton Therapy.

In any event, welcome to the other side of healing, truly, your journey isn't over yet...I hope it soon is and you get your "changed for the better" life back.

Just having a place to vent has been extremely helpful to a lot of us.

Good luck and Godspeed your recovery!
