New Member - Surgery Coming Up

As I read, I'm leaning more towards surgery and need to be educated on the types of surgery.  I feel like I just want this out of my head and never think about it again.  The possibility of having it grow back scares me.  I am however, afraid of the consequences with surgery...not so much anethesia but the facial paralysis and total loss of hearing on left side.  Any great surgeons in NY that you would recommend?
