Stethoscope Users?
« on: January 12, 2013, 07:25:26 pm »
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has tinnitus and hearing loss in the AN ear who needs to use a stethoscope for work.
I am finding it more difficult to hear through my Littmann Cardiology stethoscope. They make amplified scopes, but they need to be used against bare skin and that isn't always practical.
Anyone have experience with this issue?
AN 18x19 mm
3 meningiomas
NF2
AN treated with SRS April 2013
MRI Feb 2016 AN shrunk to 17 x 8 mm :)
Constant tinnitus in AN ear
Severe hearing loss AN ear

Hi! I am afraid that it is going to be a problem...... i ALREADY want more silence around me when I listen than i did before, though my hearing is not so bad yet....Any idea, experience? Will 'they' let us do our work?

Right AN, 1,2x0,7 cm

I do have difficulty "hearing" for taking blood pressures "the old way", so glad for the elctronic ones! I can hear alright when listening to the heart via chest but I don't ever have to do more than basic listening. Maybe check with your local Hearing Impaired Society and see if they have any suggestions???
