While you're waiting...
« on: July 06, 2013, 06:11:03 pm »
Hello! I had the 12-7 or 7-12, whatever its called, in march...three months ago last week. I had to have this because my facial nerve was severed because of the location of the tumor. Anyways, I'm wondering if any of you who have had this or who have just been waiting for nerve recovery, if your doctors gave you certain things to do or not do?? Like should I not be eating/drinking certain things, etc...I know it takes time, but I was just wondering if I missed something that I can be doing differently? Any input would help and maybe make me feel better :) thanks!
Elizabeth

Hi there - I don't know the recovery time for the 7/12 jump. My facial nerve was severed too, but I was too scared to have them operate on a nerve again, so, a year after my AN surgery I had the T3. No movement but when I bite down on the AN side it gives me a 'Mona Lisa' smile, & it took away the awful droop.
Continued healing...
