arizonajack--I don't have the MyPilot but it looks handy.
It's very handy. My first month with my hearing aids drove me crazy having to reach up one side or the other to adjust volume with the little buttons. I thought I was playing Simon Says.
The MyPilot allows your hearing aids to be programed for several scenarios and you can change the programs on the fly with the remote control device.
If you are going to buy the CROS consider buying the MyPilot at the same time. You can often get a serious discount on it with a package deal.
Have you ever lost track of yours? I have 4 small kids, so I would have to take extra precautions to make sure it doesn't disappear.
My kids are grown and out and I'm divorced so I'm on my own. I leave my equipment on my desk in the same place all the time. When I use my hearing aids I put the MyPilot and extra batteries in my shirt pocket. I always carry spare batteries. They tend to run out after a couple of days and usually when I'm out and about some place.
