Hi

Has anyone experienced headaches/pain behind eye, that have started 9 years post op?

Yes. But I can't remember when they started. I think that is from irritation to the tri-geminal nerve.  I still get it.
4 cm AN removed 12/2000
subsequent brain swelling
removal of part of cerebellum
face, scalp,tongue numbness and partial paralysis
no corneal sensation and no tears-frequent eye issues
cognitive issues
Regrowth (3.1 x ..86 cm) treated by SRS on November 6, 2015

Louise,
You should definitely check with your surgeons.  Perhaps they can refer you to a pain specialist, or have some other suggestion.  You never know until you check with your doctors.

Dx 2.6 cm Nov 2012, 35% hearing loss.  Grew to 3.5 cm Oct 2013.  Pre-op total hearing loss, left side tongue numb.  Translab Nov 2013 House Clinic.  Post-op no permanent facial or other issues.  Tongue much improved.  Great result!!

Yes, I've just had an mri to monitor a cyst that's appeared under my residual tumour. I don't know if that could be causing the headaches. My consultant said she will phone me with the results, so I'll mention it to her then.
