Hi All,
Thanks for all the support. I recently got diagnosed with Acoustic neuroma ( 3.2X3X2.5 cm). I am consulting multiple doctors both Neurosurgeon and Radiation Oncologist. If I take surgery route, most of the surgeon mentioned that they will leave some tumor behind so that they wont impact my facial nerve. When they leave some tumor back than there is a chance of regrowth, when it happens, tumor can be treated with radiation. If I take radiation route, if for some reasons if my tumor grows then I need to go for surgery. My Questions is if I go for surgery after radiation, how difficult the surgery after radiation. When I checked different doctor has difference opinions. Anyone in this group when with surgery after radiation and how was the outcome. Appreciate your help
