Steroid injection for ON

Anyone here ever have a steroid injection/nerve block in the occipital area who does not have the piece of skull or titanium mesh there? I had one done the other day (I have had serveral before this with no problems) and I had a bad reaction, dizzy, weak, sweating, and nausea. I have always just had a family physician administer them with no problems. Just wondered if anybody else has ever had an issue.
