radiation then surgery ? anyone?

I was wanting to know if anyone had radiation then surgery...
radiation feb 05, gammaknife, tumor is 1.2x0.08/ surgery Nov 1st 2006 Dr House/Swarts/

not me personally but someone had told me about FSR (Novalis) that failed and tumor had to be surgically removed.  I will try to find the thread.

Thak you for replying ..I hope that I can have it removed but cant seem to get threw to the drs..

what is your current MRI report showing on size, location, etc? Do you have a copy of the report that you can type (verbatum) here so we can better help answer (or try our best)?  That will be most helpful.

I had surgery (mid-fossa) about four weeks ago and will have Gamma knife in rthe next 2-4 weeks........

the only report that i have says,,this was 04 in the left IAC fundus is a 7mm enhancing focus the right celebellum show small foci of high T2,low T1 signal compatible with old infarcts. elsewhere no enhancing lesions,mass,signal abnormality,or morphologic abnormality are seen. flow voids and enhancements are present in the major intercranial vessels.DWI/AAdc images show no areas of restricted diffusion. ICD9 436@acute,but ILL-DEfined, cerebrovascular disease@19
Inpression   7mm left vestibular schwannoma.      no acute infarct, right cerebellar small old infarcts.  signed may 10th of 04,,,I live 75 miles from this hospital university of columbia . columbia mo

I believe Phyllis was trying to get info from your most current MRI, not the pre-treatment one.

Here we go again  they gave me the cd with all my MRI's on one disk ,But no reports..will call monday and get them sent ...
