Deb,

If I end up goping solo, I'll share with ya. Cept' I don't have any pirate jammies.  My hubby travels so much it would probably be had for him to go with anyhow.  Cheryls hubby is a business traveler too, we'll see if she's going.  I would just need to get kid care lined up.  Too soon to make definet plans yet.  Maybe we should at least make a reservation, does it fill up far in advance?

For those that are planning on going to the Symposium please hold off making your reservations till the information comes out in the ANA Notes.  Not only will there be additional information, it will actually help the ANA.  In the past the ANA has had the Hotel hold a block of rooms to be used for the symposium attendees at a special rate.  When making a reservation it'll be VERY IMPORTANT that you mention you are part of the ANA group.  The reason is, in order to use the meeting rooms at the hotel there must be a minimum amount of people staying at the Hotel.  Otherwise the ANA will be charged for the use of the meeting rooms. ( A considerable amount when you add up all of the rooms used)  So please hold off till the info appears in the ANA Notes Quarterly.  Registration, Hotel, seminars info, and possible airfare discount will all be included.  For those that don't receive ANA Notes, those of us that do, will help to keep you updated.  It's really important that you hold off so the ANA will receive the correct credit for attendees.

Thanks guys for listening

Raydean--I figured that we'd get a special rate for being part of the ANA symposium, (the most important part!--we're the one's with the ANs--it's all about us!) so I was definitely holding off.

Once again I must apologize about being out of the loop for a few days...when you live as a Nomad, you don't always have connectivity to the internet!  Kathy emailed me and told me she semi-volunteered the Rock Star Bus for the trip...whoo-hoo! wouldn't that be a great trip, with a bunch of dizzy's (some probably from the alchohol) going down the road at 70 in a 40' weapon!

Unfortunately, I won't be available to go this coming year!  I feel so good right now that I've decided to come out of retirement for awhile and am going to work at Adventureland Amusement Park in Des Moines, IA next year from May until Oct.  I'll be the one running the Roller Coaster (and thats not one of my lame jokes, that is what I'll be doing!)  I can only work these short stretches so it doesn't interfer with my Social Security:-)

It sounds like I'm going to miss a great time, but for those of you in the Mid-Country area, maybe we can work out a meet someplace up on the Minnesota border.  Next time we'll see about tailgating the symposium...
