MRI Updatre
« on: April 18, 2015, 06:44:00 am »
;D Hi everyone--I wanted to share my news on my latest MRI--last one was 3 yrs ago--went into Boston last Wednesday, April 15--had MRI and saw Dr Loeffler--he was happy to tell me everything looks good-- ;D I had to see the scan--he showed me the 2012 scan and new one and pointed out that they are exactly the same.. So I am relieved..Next MRI another 3 yrs, altho he said it is unlikely that there will be any re-growth. But he was not certain the 2018 would be the last one :)

So life goes happily on now..Plan to do some sprucing up inside my condo.. Family's all well..Grandson 5 and other will be 7 in May..  :-*

Miss the Maxwell Silverman's brunches..can we get those going again?  ???

My best to all,

Mary/AKAGrammy Mary

:D   Thanks Clarice--I give you much credit to go thru surgery twice... My post-op/recovery was pretty uneventful..but took me 3 1/2 months to feel well/energetic enough to return to work at that time..and I was only 51..so I decided I didn't want to go thru surgery again when MRI showed re-growth in 2007 and I opted for radiation. So far so good.  ;D

Happy Spring to you and yours!!

Great news and thanks for passing it along!  (we should have a clapping smiley)
Diagnosed June 2014 1cm AN at 47 years of age.  Had fluctuating symptoms since 2006.    6 mos MRI (Dec 2014) showed no growth, MRI  in July 2015 showed no growth.  MRI Jan 2016 showed no growth.  MRI Aug 2016 showed no growth.  I'm gonna ride the WW train as long as I can.

Hi AN guy--yes I would recommend WW--in my case if I had gone that course I still would have needed surgery/treatment as my AN just wanted to grow! LOL!

Best wishes to you!
