Insurance for Australian coming to USA

Hi all,

I live in Australia and am currently consulting with Stanford for consideration of doing CK for my AN.

So of course the cost of the consultations & the CK treatment itself is being covered by me... but is there any advice on were to find some form of international medical insurance to cover travel insurance, as well as the possibility of any unforeseen circumstances, that may require additional medical care?

Seems like some companies here won't even give the standard travel insurance if you have an AN.
