Plate Trouble?

Hi folks!  Not finding too many posts on this issue.  Looking for anyone that has had issues with their plate.  Mine is causing (at least I am assuming it’s the plate) discomfort mostly when I sleep.  But also if my ear gets bumped for any reason.  Curious as to what would cause this after almost 3 years post op.  Also, wondering if anyone has experienced plate removal.  This feeling came and went until recently now it seems to wanna stay.  I have an appointment not until September..MRI and
all and surely will be inquiring about it.  I certainly do not relish another surgery but I also can’t imagine feeling this for the rest of my life.
