AN possible for NF1?

I have posted my story under 'Inquiries' thread but i am wondering if there are any that have been diagnosed with NF1 that have had an AN? I am having MRI done in over a week & seeing the ENT who specialises in neuro type patients so will find out soon enough what has been causing my hearing loss.
It is probably totally unrelated that I have NF1 & suspected AN - just wondering if there is any science behind the 2.
