In search for options
« on: October 04, 2016, 07:50:29 am »
Good Morning, I was recently (within the past 2 weeks) diagnosed. My tumor is currently 3cm and I found out because of the partial hearing loss in my right ear. I live in the Bahamas, and my neurosurgeon here said that my best option was to go with cyber knife but when referred to Dr. Lansby in the US, I was told that I should have it removed promptly. I have slight balance problems at the moment. The appointment to get to the US is not until the 11th of October and that is just to see me. I don't know what to do from here. Should I get a second opinion? Should I go into surgery? I want to know what are the risks of me waiting and getting a second opinion given the size. Also, what other neurosurgeons would be good to get a second opinion? Thanks!
