Drug treatment
« on: February 03, 2022, 04:43:52 am »
I remember seeing an old post here that taking honopure helps. Wonder how common is the experience.
Is there anyone else taking Honopure or Sulforaphane and witness shrinkage of VS?

I see that it has been a month since you posted this thread, hewel2004, and no one has responded yet.  I am not familiar with honopure.  Have you started taking it?  If so, have you noticed any difference?  I realize that you might not know if there was any shrinkage until your next MRI.  But I am curious to know what your experience has been (if you took it).

Hi I took it for a while and I juice broccoli every day - certainly Lisa M said it helped her. I work on the PAK-1 pathway so keeping inflammation low tho I take a number of supplements for this: ginger shots, bromelain, fucoidan, melatonin, boswellia, D3 and K2, fresh veggie juice (celery, broccoli, snowpea shoots, carrots, apple, beetroot). A while back I got help from Prof Maruto who studied Nf2 and PAK-1 and although I dont think I have this its the same pathway. Funny enough ivermectin and other compunds like curcumin, propolis, honopure also help though I dont take those at the moment. I also take the occasional low dose aspirin (I have a high salicyitate diet) and antihistamine. So my focus daily is anti viral, anti histamine, anti inflammatory. My 3 year MRI is stable. Good enough. I feel healthy despite 5 months side effects Pfizer one.

I started taking it about a month ago.  I found the "most bioavailable form" from France called BROQ.  In France it is called "Prostaphane." I also take Bio30, Boswellia, Curcumin, Aspririn, Honopure, Quercitin, Berberine, Vitamin D, and Green Tea Extract.

You have a lot of knowledge about natural remedies, Clover131.  Why is it that you currently take what you do?  And what are the benefits of those supplements for AN?

Hi there I am trying Honopure again and also taking CBD THC full spectrum and LDN and PEA. I hgave up on the propolis. We juice veggies with broccoli every day but I also got a broccoli sprout brand Matakana which stinks but is a good brand. Also looking into serrapapetase- just arrived to work on fibrin as it dies off. How are you doing? My biggest issue is sleep. Struggle with it. I do take melatonin compounded otherwise a fragment of Zolpidem when really desperate (get woken with stabbing ear pain in night).

Hi Michele,

I started taking propolis after seeing you were doing it.  What made you decide to give up on it?

Hi Donjehle first of all it tastes terrible and stains everything and secondly the evidence is old. Tbh same with honokial though I have Honopure and rather than waste it I take it now and again- supposed to work a bit like valium. A lot more convincing to be at the moment are supplements that help work on fibrin. So in the past here bromelain (I take this and it helps with eye floaters and is a natural antihistamine) then I just bought serrapeptase. I think it was the member Derek and/or Tumbleweed that bought up fibrin. Then I did more reading re collagen gene mutations that influence regrowth of VS. Certainly this needs more consideration. I start to think its inflammation plus fibrin (maybe why low dose aspirin makes me feel better at times.) I dont feel propolis made me feel better- I developed blisters in my mouth too. As the thing dies off I think also proteins so bromelain eg or serrapeptase makes sense to me. I try find my post on collagen otherwise google collagen and VS.

Hi Don I am taking resolvins now - see my post on some links or google on them (SMPs). I just work on neuro inflammation every day and on fibrin aspect of it - so occassional serrapeptase, bromelain. Still taking melatonin, D3,K2 daily. I have tried LDN...but the resolvins def helping at moment with cognitive. Much on this if you read on.
