Cyst on AN?

I am three years post GK.  I have been experiencing increasingly more severe and more frequent facial issues, and my last MRI showed tumor growth.  I was referred to a new specialist who determined that the "growth" is actually a cyst that has developed on my acoustic neuroma.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever received this news.  If so, what happened over time?

Although most ANs tend to shrink by this stage after GK, the doctor believes both the tumor and the cyst could shrink on their own.  I have another MRI scheduled next month, so we can see what has transpired with both over the past 8 months.
