Symptoms
« on: November 07, 2017, 07:06:19 pm »
I was recently diagnosed with AN. Today I had my second MRI to see how fast the tumor is growing.  My first MRI (and diagnosis) was in August. There were concerns of malignancy (although extremely rare, I think I read there have only been 6 documented cases) because I have multiple enlarged lymph nodes along with frequent fevers, night sweats and extreme fatigue. My question to the group is, have any of you had these symptoms along with your AN? Today, my ENT told me that AN does NOT cause headaches or fatigue, yet, after reading your posts, it would appear that the majority of those here, would disagree with my ENT!
I would be very interested to hear the symptoms you all are experiencing.

I don't have headaches or fatigue. From your description I think you may be dealing with two (or more) morbidities.

How large was your tumor from your first MRI?

Good luck with your MRI results. (Most tumors stop growing by the time they are diagnosed.)

Hi Flo,

I have had these symptoms in my past history.  I agree with ANSydney in that you might have a Co-mobidity occurring as well.  I would see my Primary Care and report these concerns and encourage you to do so as well.

Peace,
