Gold weight migration
« on: May 14, 2018, 05:36:11 pm »
Has any had issues with their gold weight moving? When I first had my eye surgery, I believe that the weight was close to the eyelash line.
My eye has been feeling weird over the last week, but nothing too weird.  It had mostly felt more numb, but so has the entire side of my face. I did not think too much about it since my neurologist said it is normal for the numb sensation to change.
I just looked in the mirror and noticed that I can see the lump of the weight more than ever before and it seems to be higher on my eyelid.

Mine eventually migrated so close to the surface you could see the gold! i insisted it be removed and my doctor didn't want to, but i won the debate!  my eye will always be an issue but i seem to maintain it well enough.
4 cm AN removed 12/2000
subsequent brain swelling
removal of part of cerebellum
face, scalp, tongue numbness and partial paralysis
no corneal sensation and no tears-frequent eye issues
cognitive issues
Regrowth (3.1 x ..86 cm) treated by SRS on November 6, 2015
