Update on my intermittent hearing loss in good ear
« on: November 05, 2020, 03:00:23 pm »
Over a year ago I posted that I'm SSD last 8 years since having CK and now I'm having intermittent hearing loss in what's left of my hearing in my "good" ear.  :-[

Well, I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease so now the audiologist is suggesting I talk to my neurotologist about a cochlear implant when the time comes that my hearing has diminished enough that bi-cros hearing aids won't help any more.

So question is, has any one else lost hearing in both ears and then had a cochlear implant in the "good" ear?

I know it's a ways off but my hearing keeps diminishing at a rather rapid rate.
