Weight Watchers is a pretty good program. I've been on it before and lost weight. The trick is to be consistant, absoulutely get some kind of exercise if you can, and learn and stick to portion control. I learned a lot about diets when I went to Diabetes University. A diabetic diet is a very healthy diet. I'm not saying I am staying on it as well as I should, but it is a very well balanced diet. I did a bit of carb counting, instead of points. No more than 45 carbs per meal, and for your between meal snack, no more than 15 carbs per snack. That's a weight loss program and it works. After you lose the weight, then you can increase the carbs some. You can have all the Tim Tams you want as long as you figure in the carbs and count them. So if one Tim Tam is 15 carbs, then that is your mid morning snack. However, that isn't such a good idea if you are a diabetic! A better choice is a small apple. I also need to get back to my plan and back to walking. That's the hardest part for me is to be consistant with my exercise. Bad, bad girl.
