Unilateral/Bilateral
« on: December 08, 2006, 02:26:55 pm »
I have tinnitus that seems to be in both ears, but more in the left which is the side the AN is on, how does the AN affect the non AN side?
My ENT told me my case is unilateral.
After treatment will the non AN side tinnitus stop?

Sam I don't believe the Tinnitus on your AN side will stop after your surgery so I don't think the surgery would effect the non-AN side either. I'm in w/w but after reading all the other threads and the comments by the posties, I believe they still battle with tinnitus.

I also have a little tinnitus in my non-AN ear. It's nothing like the AN side but just the same, it is there.
