Hi rebarman:

GIT - ER - DONE !!!

Are you feeling anxious today?  'Tis normal, if you are.

Try to get a good nights sleep tonight.  I think I slept pretty well the night before.  I wanted it OUT so bad I was not nervous at all.

We will be looking forward to your first post as a postie.

Good luck rebarman, Kathy

I came here this afternoon to post my thanks and gratitude to all of you for the support you give. Then I see this thread. I cannot express enough how much this site has helped me over the past few months.

As I guess everyone is the day before surgery, I'm a little anxious, a little nervous, and a little just out and out scared, but I am comfortable with the choices I've made and look forward to emerging on the other side as a postie. As soon as I can I will come on to post an update. Hopefully my wife will remember to do so, but as I said, that may or may not happen.

Hugs to all of you and yours

I've said it before, but it never hurts to repeat these things.
My family has included you in our prayers. I believe you will heal and be happy.
When my Father was being treated for cancer years ago, I asked him how he always had such a good mental outlook. His reply was " I am going to assume that everything is going to be fine, until someone can prove to me that it wiill not. And then i'll still assume it will get better."
I try to use that philosophy when things look bad. I believe the same for you.
