Shunt pain with planes?
« on: May 07, 2007, 12:12:31 am »
hey guys! ok so my friend rachel invtied me to go with her on a trip this summer and I would LOVE to go because i use to go every summer and i just LOVE her family, but that is beside the point. what my concern slash question is:

has anybody with a shunt ever had problems flying?

my doctor said i wouldn't, but none of my doctors can figure out why i go through excruciating pain in the shunt area of my head when i have MRI's. so im not sure if i should go for a trial run on a plane that is at least 2 hours with stops or longer without out.

just like some input on this.
thanks a million!
