Doulos,
The questions I asked the second time around, and I start FSR Dec 28 are these:
1) Why not another surgery? (This was just to confirm what I thought I already understood. Given that my first surgery was 32 hours, I did not want another one. Basically, my tumor is just not accessible and is attached to the artery and this is very sticky and bleeds a lot.)
2) [to the radiologist] Are headaches often associated with various forms of radiation therapy? (There is plenty of evidence on this forum that suggests a strong correlation, yet some docs, including one locally, deny the possibility. Mine was clear that there is not nearly enough known about headaches in general, and that RT can lead to headaches for some patients, so his goal is to work with a team to treat the pain and try to relieve the symptoms.)
3) Why do you recommend one treatment over another? Would you be offended if I consulted with specialists in {GK/CK/Linac/etc - whatever is not the doc's RT specialty}?
These are in addition to the ANA questions. For each of us, I think it comes down to our particular concerns and fears.
I hope this helpful, best of luck!
