Anyone in L.A. with a Transear??

I am 5.5 years post AN surgery and just read in the ANA newsletter about the Transear.  I am excited about the possibility of getting one -- the BAHA surgery did not appeal to me.

Anyone near me - at House Ear Institute or otherwise - have one?  I would love to find an audiologist who has experience with this device.

If you haven't had any luck getting responses on finding a TransEAr, post your question as a 'New Topic' in the 'Hearing Issues' folder.  Give the topic a good phrase that jumps out on the unread email list.  I think you'll get better action that way. 

I can give you lots of info on the TransEar itself as I have one, but I live in south Texas.  I  went to my local ENT and his audiologist and asked them to get an impression kit from TransEar.  Within two months, we were off to the races and hearing it!.

Thanks Boppie.  I did find a couple of audiologists in the area that have experience with the device and I have an appt. to see one on Thurs.  I am excited by the possibility.
