Pain in the A--
« on: July 21, 2007, 12:53:44 am »
Had a lump - in an embarrasing place
It would bleed - fix - then two days later, bleed again
Went on for weeks - My mind was full of "Skin Tumour?"
"post Rad reaction ?" - "the meds ?" - "we`re going to die" etc etc etc
Then a week back hanging up the trousers
What do I see ?
The metal safety pin from the dry cleaners
- EXACTLY where lump and blood was coming from
every time I sat down it must had dug straight into me...
Dont know if to laugh or cry...
lucky it wasnt 2" lower I guess...
Best Regards
Tony

Tony:

Thank you for the laugh.  Sorry about your arse.

At least you diagnosed yourself instead of a doctor saying:  Tony, I think you have been sitting on a pin......take the pin out of your pants and you will be fine.  ;D

Hi, Tony:

Thanks for the amusing account of your pain in the tush.   ;D

I'm glad it was only a pin - and that you found it on your own.  Now, aren't you glad the internet is anonymous?    :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
