One year out!
« on: September 23, 2007, 12:36:57 pm »
Hello everyone, I have been keeping up the latest posts. I haven't posted in a long time. Well it's been one year post-op and for those who think there is slow recovery or no recovery I just want to tell you there is hope . With my family support and plenty of prayer from my church family I am here to say that my mouth has straighten out and right now I have a 3/4 smile. My right eye has seen movement and I now can close it. I still cannot blink but I have ointment that I apply to it. My vestibular is still slowly coming around. I still have problem with crowds .  I may start back to work shortly. I will be in prayer for all of you and I am here to tell you there is recovery. GOD bless. TastyKakeman. :)

TastyKakeman:

Hi - and congratulations on your continued recovery and improvement.  God is good.   :)

I applaud your optimism and ability to function even with physical obstacles to overcome.

May you have many more reasons to celebrate in the months ahead.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
